Lessons are 30 minutes per session. Hour lessons, or two 30-minute sessions per week, are available at double the cost. Lessons are scheduled every thirty minutes, so timeliness is important. If the instructor is still in the previous lesson at the start-time of your lesson, please knock on the door.
REGISTRATION FEE – A one time, non-refundable $80 fee is to be paid with the first month’s lesson tuition.
TUITION – Lessons are once a week on a day and time scheduled in advance. Lessons are a standing appointment on the same day and time every week in order to provide consistency and efficiency for all parties. Tuition is as follows:
• 1/2-hour private lesson –$90 per month* (visit our tuition page for a payment schedule)
• 1-hour private lesson – $180 per month* (visit our tuition page for a payment schedule)
• Young Band Development Program (YBDP) – $600 per semester
• Beginner’s Group Class – $75 per month
NO-SHOWS – Two or more no-shows in a two-month period may result in the student being bumped from his/her time slot.
PAYMENTS – Payments are for the entire month, not on a week-to-week basis. Payment by Direct Draft is encouraged, but cash and check are accepted.
CANCELLATION OF SERVICES – Students must give written notice (either mail or email) to discontinue lessons at least 30 days in advance. If a 30-day notice cannot be provided, students may drop immediately by providing written notice PLUS a $30 early exit fee. If clients do not pay exit fee within one week of immediate drop, they will be charged an additional $20 per week for every week they do not pay. Clients will continue to receive invoices until the fee is paid.
Payment by the quarter is encouraged, but monthly payments are accepted.
CREDITS – NO credits will be given for missed lessons. Your scheduled lesson is a standing appointment established to accommodate your schedule. This applies to all situations including illness, vacation and school functions. Lessons missed due to teacher absence will be credited to the next month.
All returned checks require immediate cash repayment plus a $30 charge to cover all bank service charges and NSF fees. Student may be dropped from the program after 2 returned checks or failure to pay tuition two months in a row.
Tuition should be paid by the 7th of each month. A $10 late fee WILL BE ENFORCED if payments are not received by the 7th of the month.
